Hamel Scholarship Application

The Hamel Scholarship Program seeks to help exceptional in-state students develop their full potential and graduate from UNH poised to become active, engaged leaders in communities throughout the state. This exclusive scholarship is offered only to the top 20-25 applicants.

This scholarship provides substantial financial support in the form of a yearly scholarship of an additional $5,000 to $10,000* plus special opportunities for academic and co-curricular engagement. Winners of a Hamel Scholarship agree to participate in community service and leadership activities administered by the Hamel Program Coordinator. Consideration for a Hamel Scholarship is weighted heavily upon leadership and community service/engagement (through work, community involvement, religious activities, athletics, etc.) in addition to academic excellence.
